How is Cube EXP calculated in Task Bar Hero?
Cube EXP is the item's base grade EXP multiplied by its level scale, its gear-slot scale, its item-type scale, and finally a level-match factor based on how close the item's level is to your Cube's level. This calculator applies all five, using values read from the game's own data files.
Does Alchemy avoid the Cube EXP level penalty?
No. Alchemy gold ignores the level match, but alchemy EXP does not. The game applies the same level-match curve to Cube EXP no matter which Cube operation consumed the item, so Alchemy, Synthesis, Crafting and Offering all pay the same EXP for the same item. Only materials are exempt, because they have no level.
What item level should I feed my Cube in Task Bar Hero?
Feed items at or above your Cube's level. The penalty is asymmetric: items above your Cube level never fall below a 30% floor, while items below it decay all the way to 1%. Because the level factor keeps rising while the penalty stops at that floor, the highest-level gear you own is usually the best thing to feed.
Which Cube operations give Cube EXP in Task Bar Hero?
Four of them: Alchemy, Synthesis, Crafting and Offering. They all pay the same Cube EXP for the same item and differ only in what you get back. Decoration, Engraving, Inscription and Extraction give no Cube EXP at all.
What is the max Cube level in Task Bar Hero?
The Cube caps at level 100. Obtainable gear stops at level 80 — the game's data runs to level 90, but every level 85 and 90 item is flagged as removed and drops from nothing — so every item you feed a high-level Cube is below its level.
