What is cast time in Task Bar Hero?
Cast time is how long a skill's own activation takes, separate from its cooldown. The game has no cast-time column in its data - the value is the length of the skill's animation clip, which is why no in-game tooltip shows it. Cast times range from 0.25s (Rapid Fire) to 1.7s (Piercing Arrow).
What is the difference between Cast Speed and Cooldown Reduction?
Cooldown Reduction shortens the wait before a skill is available again and is hard-capped at 75%. Cast Speed shortens the cast itself and has no cap. A skill's real cycle is its cooldown plus its cast time, so once Cooldown Reduction caps, Cast Speed is the only stat still shortening the loop.
What is the Cast Speed formula in Task Bar Hero?
Cast time equals the animation length divided by the Cast Speed multiplier, which every hero starts at 1.0 with no class variation. At 2.0 Cast Speed a cast takes half as long. Returns diminish: the first +100% halves the cast, the next +100% only removes another sixth.
